It is a very exciting moment for those who have been involved in organizing the 1st pan-Asia blogger gathering. We must apologize for very short notice (like many other events :-P) to the community, and sometimes less responsiveness. Meanwhile a big thanks to those who have completed registeration or submitted application to apply travel fund support. In first 24 hrs or so we have received overwhelming applications from Myanmar (Burma), China, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, Pakistan, Philippines, and Vietnam. Your enthusiasm and patience are certainly appreciated. We've also extended the deadline of submission to Oct. 16 (Friday), 2009 and hopefully to accommondate more participants.

One gentle reminder is that due to very limited budget, we will consider "partial support" first. It would be REALLY helpful if you can rely on other source of funding for your airfare (or mileage redemption), while the host can offer hotels / meals for more participants. For full travel support, most likely we will only be able to fund those who are physically located in Asia this time. Details please see here.
